Gold and procedural
Logic, material

It is not for lack of trying a thousand approaches: our current methods of capturing PBR materials collide with an immutable constraint, an unyielding physical reality—reflection.

Understanding this constraint is essential. Our process relies entirely on photography. Gold, like any material, possesses a reflective structure—a challenge that becomes all the more complex when dealing with "meteorite gold," a surface sculpted like volcanic basalt or an iron-rich meteorite, defying faithful capture.

To overcome this, we blend procedural techniques with photography, using metals whose optical properties closely resemble those of gold. The result is a PBR structure of striking precision, revealing every detail with breathtaking clarity—available in resolutions up to 8K.
